It was busy in Pitlochry this morning Anne, there was a cycle race in aid of Marie Crrie Cancer Fund, attracting well over a thousand riders. They caused me to stir at 5.30am.when they left on their 80 mile race!!!!!!!!!

Not seen any yet... but nice sunset tonight too, though not as good as last night. Had haggis with cream/drambuie and then plaice with squat lobster - really good! Bazz had seafood linguine yesterday, again very good.

I'm in Scotland too but further north. All last week I had a mix of heavy rain, hail, mist and murk but it's changed this morning to clear blue skies and bright sun with a good forecast for the week ahead, just as I have to leave!

Don't you believe him Marie, Tom and Penny had to help him home when we went out on the Monday night at Morgans Hereford meet. Light weight Onion, well not so light weight when you have to hold him up. Luckily my recently broken wrist got me out of that one.

In Skye at the moment at Broadford. I checked Molly2's alternator yesterday and didn't think it was charging anything. He checked it out with a garage on Skye and they confirmed he needs a new alternator. Nearest place is Inverness Oh well... he may have to make a detour. But I am charging his engine battery off the Genny so he may be able to make that trip, or perhaps continue with us. We are looking to leave Skye on Friday morning and get the Ferry to Mallaig to stay at Arisaig on Friday night. A little more mist and drizzle today but hopefully clearing up tonight.

First casualty, Baz and his missus Christine have had to leave the convoy with alternator failure. He as had to go back a few miles to a garage at the beginning of Skye. It is quite a new van and still under warranty. He is hoping to stay in his van at the garage overnight. We are staying in a Co-op car park in Broadford Sky hoping he will re-join us tomorrow. Weather as changed and we are parked looking out to sea through rain and misty windows . We should cheer up soon with an educational trip to the local pub. Gee we are having it rough .... .... Tom ....
