I have pulled the yellow lever to drain my heater off and emptied the water tank as well ? I hope ? Unless I turn the the water pump off on the electrics panel it is still making a noise ? Sorry not technical but does that sound ok ? Water tank reads empty on the panel also ? No water coming from any taps either

Where is your tank as that should have a seperate drain off on it ?

your water system is pressurised, this means your pump will start pumping as soon as you- open a tap run out of water get a leak so,as you've emptied the tank, the pump SHOULD start up,so all is well, just turn it off !

Keep the van heated with trace heating if possible as an alternative to letting it freeze if you are leaving it.
