Edina, massive thanks to you for getting the raffle prizes up North and to Mrs Edina for making the beautiful blamket and cushion. I am lucky enough to have ended up with both of them, as Vern won the blanker but gave it to me as it didn't go in his van, then Carol won the cushion and also donated it to me to match the blanket. I ,ay have been enthusing about how nice they were - but wasn't expecting that! (thanks again Vern and carol!) Thanks also to you and to Ellisboy for buying tickets remotely, k am not sure how much we made , Vern or Carol will no doubt say but think we did pretty well

Ellisboy, you won a bottle of sparkling perry! You also won again but we kept at one prize per person Other winners... Edina, bottle of wine Lanzarote 13% Very nice blue bottle, thanks Luckyfish252 for 3 nice bottle prizes Anne got the wonderful crochet work from Dawn/Edina - but prizes donated to her from other winners as the colours will suit her. Splitty/Brenda - Remote control CD Radio - Thanks OH - great prize OH - Weeks supply of noodles from wvw Onion - Choice of handmade pyrography spoon from wvw - great prizes again. Anne? - Pedal bin from Windancer? More useful items Myself and ? Bottles of beer. Livotlout and others donated these prizes Sorry if I missed any prizes and contributors out - those were the ones I can remember. If anyone can add details, please do so. But in general, thanks so much to everyone for some superb prizes. I think most people won something useful to them too! Overall we raised about £50. Carol will post details. (I have Edina's and Ellisboy's prizes, so you'll have to contact me to see how we can get them to you - probably a meet or dropped off on grapevine/network as high postage cost for glass and liquids are not worth it)

I’m glad the raffle was a success and that Dawn’s handiwork went to a good home. Credit must go to Hippy for lugging our offering all the way up there. Vernon, if you don’t mind hanging onto our prize we will no doubt meet up soon, when I’m a bit more mobile, thanks.

I did really well in the raffle. I did not know there even was one but I do vaguely remember all these things turning up. I never saw any raffle tickets being sold but perhaps I had gone on to Ribblehead by then. But I got a complete camping gaz stove, a great electric lantern, and a huge jar of salt. Thanks Vern really appreciate that . One thing I can't understand about all my prizes is all the different prizes have C B stamped on them. I have no idea what that means , but I have a feeling I'm gonna find out pretty soon. .... Tom ....

Has anyone seen my lamp, heater and salt please? What u trying to say BillieBlue I said they got C B stamped on em not B B. I just been out to the van a couple of hours back and they fit in just fine. The stuff should come in handy if there is no pub about and we need to heat stuff up, you know somewhere like the bothy. When we lose the power off the solar panels I will get my new little lantern out and light the place up and you will say her comes little Tommy Nightingale again helping out as usual. When the little heater is warming the food up and the little light is showing the way I will put salt out on the icy path so no one slips. At the end of the night and I am still in a generous mood I may raffle them off again and let someone else have a chance. Well thats me off to bed feeling very helpful and generous, I should good tonight. Sweet dreams, good Night all .... .... .... Tom ....
