Yeah supermarket ones can be dodgy, but if you get proper ones from a reputable source they can be all prime cuts mixed with just herbs and seasonings - fantastic! Of couse they aren't going to be 99p for six so you have to pay your money and trust the source

Now there is an idea ! Maybe on a meet we should have a Cow Roast ? Or hog roast ? Although Rob did tell them he had a spare Deer ! How you have a spare Deer starts to boggle the mind a bit ? We got a spare old person but am guessing it would be tough and taste really foul !

If you mix an old person with enough herbs and spices it will probably turn out OK! Are any of you still down at Greywell, or just living off the pickings, it's nearly Tuesday you part timers I bet some will be straight down to Lydney to sample Morgan's offerings while I have to work next Saturday, grump!

I am glad I could not attend this meet if old person was on the menu. I should imagine I would have been nice and tender with some of those sources but old Jose would have been as tough as old boots. .... Tom ....

Everyone left on Sunday with various animal portions. Venison rabbit pheasant pigeon....... A slow pot roast would deal with the tough old birds.......
Sadly we can't make this weekend due to a prior booking on Saturday.
