Nice one! It's well worth a visit, especially if this summer holds out! The Typhoon is coming back this year . If you park up along the Overcliff you can sit on the grass area and get a better view than on the beech.

The typhoon ? You mean the most expensive display aircraft ever built ? According to my mate in the raf that is all it is any good for as yet again the so called clever people have bought yet another useless piece of equipment for our armed forces ! Like the brand new Chinooks that sat in hangars for years as could not be flown operationally ! Not forgetting the apache that we bought but decided not to take the us training package so it now costs us a small fortune to train the pilots as takes so much longer here as we do not have the weather for training ? Then these people retire and get paid a small fortune !

Parked up the van last night and had a BBQ after work. They had two night displays, two stunt planes with fireworks coming out the back and some parachutists with bright flares under their boots! Decided to stay the night, there's some live music at Bournemouth pier which we can here from the van.If your coming and wish to park along the Southbourne/Boscombe Overcliff, then you need to get here early in the morning or late evening( when all the cars have gone.

I went to Eastbourne for the air show and was able to park up by seafront at one spot for the whole duration. Are you able to park up for the whole w/end at same space?? Anyway, hope you had a goodw/end and enjoyed the displays.

We went to the show yesterday. Stayed at Parley Glade which was brilliant as it's only a mile from the airport so we saw all the planes take off.

Thanks chap, not bad for a bricklayer!! We've not been home long, stayed for 4 days & 3 nights.it was very hot today, the only down point was that the Vulcan bomber was supposed to end the show today ,but it sprung a fuel leak so didn't fly
