After receiving some advice on here with regards to my families situation i decided to contact the office of my local MP.I spoke to his secretary who actually paid attention and listened to what we were going through and said she would personally get word to him about our situation.Well i got a call back from her saying he would like to meet with me tonight (Thursday) to discuss in person what has been going on and what we feel the police and local council have lacked in with support. Finally we might be able to really express our side and hope no one else in this area ever has to go through what we have with these thugs again.

Really pleased both for you and your new found peace of mind, and also for the people of your town who seem to have a good MP who is prepared to listen. Hopefully it'll be a good outcome all round if he is involved and is able to put pressure on police and council to stop this problem. Hope the meeting went well ~ what news?

Hi well update after my meeting is my MP was furious at what had gone on to the point of asking why the local chief constable is in his job ha.He is sending out letters to all those in authority who should have done something asking for explanations why nothing was done.He also arranged for us not to have to give notice on termination of our current lease agreement. Was very impressed with him actually.

I hope it leads to getting some results locally. Nationwide, I believe the process of youths getting away with what they like will continue, until a dual strategy of fixing local unrest and pursuing the parents for damages caused by their springing is enforced. (Tough on crime - tough on the causes of crime ... now who said that )

(Tough on crime - tough on the causes of crime ... now who said that ) Wasn't it an alleged war criminal...can't remember the name just now. Really pleased for you, Doodles! It will be interesting to see what happens.
