I installed a live chat room if you want to try it. Just click on the chat link at the top or go to freemotorhominguk.boards.net/index.cgi?action=chatIt probably won't be very useful while we are a small group, or even very useful if we get to be a bigger one! Most Internet chat is a real waste of time in my opinion, it's all hellos, goodbyes, BRBs, and LOLs At least with a forum you get to see some content occasionally! But have a go and see what you think... I guess it can't do any harm I haven't tried it yet because this machine is not up to date enough to run the latest version Jave you need for the applet.

That's the other problem with chat - getting people online at the same time. Still I guess we may have an Xmas get together/party in the chat box or something like that for an evening

I'm running windows 2000 NT on this - ancient I know. Firefox won't run the latest version of Java run time so it doesn't work. But I can get it to work with Opera. It says it has signed and unsigned content and I just clicked ignore and I was in. This OS is too ancient to run Chrome and I never use Internet Exploiter, so I couldn't say about that. On home lap top it works on windows 7 with Firefox, Chrome and Opera. Just click the box which says ignore unsigned content - could be tricky at work if you have a restriction. But may be worth giving Opera a go if you are allowed to install another browser Edit: BTW You have the options in the chat of using 8 smilies and sending the sounds "meow" "slap" or "whip"(!!) If you're a 50 shades fan you're gonna love it
