I stupidly thwacked my aerial with my windscreen wiper and snapped it off. How can I re-attach it? Is it a case of resorting to loads of sellotape or will I need a new one and if so, how easy is it to take off the old one and replace. I love my radio when driving!!

If of the tubular type, a temporary fix can be made by flattering the bottom tube of the broken off section with pliers such that this piece can now be jammed into the hole on the base section or use a wire coat hangar.
(I think I fixed Anne's like that last year... I don't know if it is still like that or not or if it is still working!)

I think I've got a spare coat hangar for Carol's... it also doubles as a mini washing line One could probably peg out a couple of pairs of socks, panties, or even a tea towel!

Haha, how handy! Have you got anything bigger? Could use two coat hangars. They should both fit in the same hole. Then you could dry two tea towels at once with the added bonus you may get better reception too
