Good info Gaz. We may have a go at a collaborative map for BWB disposal points... This resource would also be useful: www.toiletfinder.org/locationsIt needs developing though, it is short of info at the moment, though we could put good road locations on our own BWB map ourselves.

Useful site Vernon...it still has quite a way to go, though...which it can only do if people contribute, of course, as you say.
Actually, adding waste and water to a BWB map sounds like a good idea.
I have never had to use them but I believe cemetaries will always have a water supply and I have seen advice that suggests emptying waste can often be done at water treatment works.

I don't think that using cemetaries should be encouraged. We visit our local cemetary a couple of times a week, there is not much parking and recently we had to queue for the tap because a motorhome was filling up using a hose. He was very arrogant when people complained and as you can imagine, the view of the people visting their loved ones was not very favourable towards motorhomes.
I can understand people maybe taking a watering can full if there are several parking spaces available and outside of funeral times, but any more than that gives us a bad name.

Agreed about cemeteries. Have to be sensitive and also, like RADAR key toilets, they are probably somewhere I would only visit at night or out of hours. And if you are there at the same time as other people watering flowers they must have priority. I have filled at cemetaries a couple of times, only 10l and 5l containers, but it was in the evening when there was nobody else around and well out funeral or usual visiting times.

Yeah, as with most things, it's common sense. You will always get a few unreasonable people who give us a bad name. Just be discrete where possible.

That is just taking the mickey. I have a watering can - that is enough to keep you going for a bit. Come back a bit later if you need.

I had an email today. It appears that the waterscape site linked in the opening post is an old site which is in the process of being moved to a new site, which is here
