Strangely enough I can't seem to focus on the shoes.

Strangely enough I can't seem to focus on the shoes. That is because you are a dog, according to your avatar

You gotta look closely. If he'd put sports wheels on the van it would almost be perfect!

^ I hope she wasn't hurt!
It must have taken some fairly wonky steering to manage both to take the barrier out and end up in the trench too.

It's easier than you think. My partner managed to break a shop window with one she hired from Mobility

It's easier than you think. My partner managed to break a shop window with one she hired from Mobility I sometimes wonder if those scooter things have too much speed available. I've seen them going a fair pace on pavements such as to be a hazard to pedestrians. I believe the max speed when used on pavements is set at 4mph, but the scooters made for road use are capable of 8mph. This kind of speed really would be a danger on pavements. 2mph would be a more appropriate speed in amongst foot traffic.

Agreed. It isn't just the speed, there is also the weight/momentum to consider. Along with design...I drove a supermarket one, once...I won't say it was difficult, but it was quirky, like a scooter. And not forgetting the ability of individual drivers. I am not sure where the answer lies. I think 2mph is a bit slow but acknowledge the issue with momentum.
They don't use them much in Europe

I have always wondered why we are so secretive about our privates...we don't let hardly anyone see them. This may be the first time this poor boy has seen adult meat and two veg...and don't we always look harder and longer at things that are new to us?

That is so true Polly. I remember back in around 1952 being in the Home & Colonial shop with my granny and my sister. All of a sudden my sister points to a man entering the shop, and with a astonished tone of voice said "Look at that man.... he's black"!
