I've been offered one of these, complete & brand new boxed for £500, is it worth the money & are they difficult to fit? I'm quite handy with spanners & DIY having fully retored several classic cars & motorbikes & have converted my camper including plumbing, gas, electrics etc.
It's a bit more than I wanted to pay, but unfortunately I've nowhere to fit a carver or similar.

Go for it! Second hand ones go for upto £450 on eBay,they're not too bad to fit,you need a hole in the floor for the intake/exaust pipes. There should be a template in the kit, otherwise there's lots of info on the net.

Thanks all, it looks simple enough & any excuse to play with power tools is good with me I'll get in touch with the seller & try to thrash out an even better deal

Probably takes a fair while to install. My Propex took at least 12 hours and I notice he was burning the midnight oil in the vid.
£500 is a good price though they cost well over a £1000 new. I'm not sure why they are so much more expensive than propex.

i ran the wires direct to the leisure battery with an inline 10a fuse, and the fuel line up behind the drivers seat and into a 10 litre water container via a small hole drilled in the lid.took about 2 hours,i reckon these others must drink a lot of tea and ponder a lot !
