It is going to be, as they have arranged some special guests on stage. I know for a fact they are bringing the strings from the RSC to play on a couple of tracks like they did on the album. I think there will be others too.
So it will be mixture of folk, punk, rock, celtic and classical. They can play all styles. Also Mad Dog Mcrea and Gaz Brookfield are always worth a listen.

I wanted to go but I'll be on my way beck from a week away with my parents so couldn't fit it in! I'm sure you'll have a great time! Hopefully they will do soemthing similar next year, and hoping they will be at a festival or two! The one in Cornwall looked good last year! Have fun!

So I'm off soon!
I Google-earthed Nottingham centre and found some promising free parking and street camping in Robin Hood Road, just East of Victoria park. It is only about 900m from the venue. But you have to pick and choose carefully in Nottingham centre. Resident's parking only and lines all over the place!

Gig was brilliant. Lots of guests on stage, Irish dancers, a rapper, Kyle Peters from the first album, and half a string orchestra for the last couple of numbers. Also, earlier Mad Dog Macrae and Gaz Brookfield had a violin guy accompanying him which worked very well. I wanted to take some vids so got there early on the front rail and got absolutely pummelled by girls trying to grab the rail throughout the gig and squeeze on. It wasn't going to happen though! What is it about girls and the front rail. They get quite pushy about it.
We also got squeezed by waves from a very active mosh pit. 3 girls who came off worst for wear in the pit needed to be lifted out over the barrier. Venue was packed. Must have been 2000 in there.
Parking - Robin Hood Street has had residents only parking fitted since Google took pics in May, but I found a small industrial estate to the East of Victoria park which was fine. About 1 km walk in.
