I have to visit the Royal Courts of Justice on Monday morning. I want to be as near the front of the queue for the various offices as early as possible so I'm planning on parking overnight in Lincoln's Inn Fields. From there, it's a couple of minutes walk to the back door of the RCJ. Parking charges only apply between 08:00 and 18:30 Monday to Saturday. I have a Blue Badge and there are Disabled Bays which allow up to four hours without charge. Hopefully my business will take much less than that. Will I have a peaceful night, will some copper try to move me on because he thinks I'm "camping", will I get a ticket from some overzealous "parking attendant" the following morning? I'm hoping passers by with uniforms, hats and nasty little machines will see a Berlingo and think nothing more about it. Time will tell and I'll let you know.

Wilding in London, always tricky. Not so much cops or wardens, just finding free places overnight, and reasonable places during the day. Plus extra for congestion charge, LEZ etc.
I would personally find somewhere free on M25 ring near a tube station, then buy a travel card for the day. Walk to tube and pay £8 for a travel card. Can still get in to town for 6.30 am if needs be.

I thought about that, but I had to go to Hackney afterwards and the underground doesn't go there. I've got a Blue Badge so parking is a bit easier than for many people. I arrived in Lincoln's Inn Fields at about 11pm on Sunday. No one else about and no other cars. Read for a while and went to sleep. No disturbance from passers by, foot or vehicles. Woke at about six, had a leisurely abolutions and breakfast. The RCJ opens at 9am. Sadly, they don't start talking to the public until ten. However, I was done and dusted in the hour and left Lincoln's Inn at about eleven with no people in uniforms with hats or nasty machines taking any interest at all.

Well done A blue badge makes it a bit easier. Hackney is a bit of a pain, but if you have a travel card, you can get a tube to Liverpool Street or Bethnal Green, and then a bus onwards. The travel card will be valid on the bus and DLR too. It's always a bit more tricky working out which bus, but there are usually quite a few choices.
