Do you need any help Tom? I could pop up there for a day in the car when you do the job. Hi Rob thanks for your offer. Got it all under control at the moment just waiting for a lock up premises to become available. We had one booked but the axle took that long getting here we missed the date. There is nothing more to do at this moment in time but hope the premises become ready sometime soon. I will put a couple more photos on of the axle all cleaned up and waiting to be reinstalled once the other axle is out. .... Tom .... imagen

Latest update, The axle is still asleep on the axle stands has in the last photo. We are waiting for my mates mate to vacate his premises for 2 days so we can proceed with getting the horse re-shod. It has taken a turn for the worse stood in the garden. Even though it is empty it has started to lean over more. Even Jose noticed it which surprised me has she takes as much interest in it as a magnet to a bar of soap. The problem was it was compressing the McPherson strut and coil spring at the front so much it was getting close to the front wheel touching the wheel arch. I have now jacked the back end up to where it should be and the front has now come back up to its proper height. My next big worry is will it make it the next 7 to 8 miles to Trafford Park without having to be transported. Well the surgeons are all ready, the patient is ready, now bring on the operating table. .... Tom ....

Hope you can get it sorted soon Tom. Thanks Caz. I hope it is too. Once I get permission to take it into the premises it should take about two days. The biggest scare will be if the sub frames on the ends of the axle are slightly different that will cause havoc. From what I can see it should go in even though there are slight differences between the two axles. Have you got a passport for Jaz. If you have you may as well book a holiday as well and get the boat with Vern. When John and Jenny get that red wine out there is no telling how far we won't get. . When we was at Hereford a couple of years back they gave me that much I was away with the ... Goodness its a hard life. .... Tom .... Vern why don't the smiley's work anymore.

We should drink a toast to Tom for having a go himself. So da job’s not going to be easy, but if he does make any bloomers at yeast he can say he fried.
