I love it that as he lists the hundreds of faults on the van, he states "A ford badge was put by me , on the outside of the glove compartment."
How can you resist, with a sale clincher like that!

It's gone for £230 - scrap value really, but you do get all those tempting extras like the piece of hardboard to cover the hole in the door! He even goes out of his way to tell you the rear windows fog up in the cold

Interior could be a dream, if brought back to life - and exterior too cream and dark green flash or maybe red with cream flash.

Fantastic project in the right hands. Would be worth a fortune if properly restored.

OK - I know it's not Ebay, but how about this? www.mod-sales.com/direct/vehicle/37/63835/CVRT_Samaritan_Fully_reconditioned.htmIdeal for war zone camping, it would keep any bullets at bay and already comes fitted with two beds. 72 kph would match traffic on the M25. Disadvantages; interior space, fuel economy, and a price tag of £55k I'm not sure how they can charge so much for obsolete vehicles but no doubt it is priced to sell in the collector market!

The Dennis van sold for over £10,000!

Wow £10.000, that is some profit. I bet it was only about £300 brand new. I bet Dennis never earned that much when he was alive, but they do dominate the dustbin lorry trade now. I well remember the Dennis vans, Lorries, Buses, and its still going strong. I hope whoever bought it puts some pics up somewhere when he has renovated it. Perhaps Dennis have bought it for there museum. .... Tom ....

If Dennis van is well restored it could be worth a lot £50k or more, one of a kind vehicle.

Supplementary question - how would you plan the layout of the space given the cab walk through and the rear doors?

I don't quite know what to make of this: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281786118886Very little original, everything upgraded by two previous owners but neither finished it. I hope someone can!

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281847094509Ex Polish army 8 tonne 6x6 truck. Only 2,000 miles on it and looks almost mint condition. Top speed 55 mph, 7.5m long, 5 tonne payload, 625 mile range. You won't get stuck in the mud in this with 6 driven wheels. Looks great if you have £11,000 to spare
