Having made a couple of mad dashes down to Stuttgart (down 1 day & back the next in a car), I am planning to take the van over for around a month having seen a snapshot of this beautiful country, but spend some time enjoying it. I'll be travelling alone as my partner is completely not interested.
I am looking at getting the most out of it. I've looked at heading south to the lakes or maybe doing the 'Romantic Road' but maybe not such a pleasure on my todd! I guess that ideally a circular route might be better & I'm not great with just my own company so maybe some stops with people around may be nice.
My question is has anybody done Germany and got any memorable route suggestions?

Spent some time living there in the seventies and eighties so It's probably different now but a really memorable route followed the Rhien up to Koblenz where the spectacular confluence with the River Mosel is. Then up the Mosel valley to Cochem. Beautiful scenery in this famous wine growing area.

Some friends toured Europe a few years ago and said Germany was their favourite place for motorhoming - enjoy.
