Jess was there last year with her dogs and just found it in the terms and conditions that they are allowed providing they are kept on a lead, can't remember seeing any dogs in the arena not sure if they were banned from there or if people were being sensible as it did get packed in there later on.

They're not too bothered how good looking the lasses are, tee hee. We were at the fest last year and there were plenty of dogs around - all on a lead, of course.

Thanks Neil feel a bit more confident about sending for tickets now. Was unsure as did not want to get the tickets then find out we would be restricted to a small area.

Fairy wings! So cliche! So fairy wings are out so any ideas we could choose between Dragon, Bat, Angel, Bird, Aeroplane, The Detroit Red Wings, Duff's Famous Wings ( remembered the apostrophe this time Carol ) or I have a white forensic suit add a couple of wings and I could go as a pa................no best not to go there I'll be in trouble again

There's loads of car parking space so I'd be tempted to arrive late at night the night before and just park up. That's what I did, I just drove on and joined the others about 11pm. There was no barrier on the road to the rugby club. The event itself was free so the charge was only for camping. And if you park up in the car park during the day and accidentally have too many beers so you can't drive that night, you'll have no choice but to stay overnight... And the money saved by not paying for a camping ticket can then be put behind the bar, so that's fair ;-)
To be honest, if I hadn't been an honest kind of person, I could have got away without paying, as the others had already paid / had tickets checked earlier that evening before i arrived, and I had to make a point of speaking to the lady steward in charge of paying / tickets to pay (And that was only because she was hanging round the encampment for a while as there was something going on between her and Onion - I'd already been out to look for her and given up).
There's a car park on the roundabout just opposite the turning off the main road, after the bridge, which leads to the rugby club, past houses and a pub. Not sure if there's a height barrier on it, I think not otherwise I wouldn't have made a mental note to remember it.

Whoops - festival camping tickets SOLD OUT! (See www.corbridge-festival.co.uk/tickets/) I think the likely prospect is that I'll come over on Saturday just for the day. Marie will be helping out at the Corbridge Garden Show on that day and will hopefully pop over afterwards for a while. Shame, I should have got a camping ticket ages ago.
