Since coming back from my trip to wales with Penny Annie and co...my leisure battery has decided to drain itself!! I hadnt noticed as hadnt been in the van since returning home. the solar panel is still working so something is draining the battery. What a headache..will now have to find the cause.
Im not sure if its the isolator switch that Haydn and i fitted to top up the battery whilst driving as my split relay had stopped working. Thinking about it I best check to see if van battery is dead too...!!!
Maybe if i can get it working i might consider coming to Caerphilly on the Thursday and home on Sunday to meet my sister!!
Decisions Decisions!!

Advice needed...On the regulator the solar light is blinking and the battery light is blinking red...now I assume thats because the battery is flat...but reading about my regulator if the solar light is blinking it means overcharging.... www.chinasolarregulator.com/solar-controller-10i-20i-30i-ec-st.html#stThis is my regulator...Im not sure if i left the lights on and thats whats run my battery down or its something else...The van battery is ok... I shall try and get the battery on charge..and see if the alight on regulator settles down...and then check if something is still draining my leisure..but any advice would be welcome...

best get it on charge, then when it's charged test for power drain.set your meter to DC amps if poss, then pull all the fuses connected to the LB. now put a probe on each side of each fuseholder. there shouldn't be a reading,if there is one, either something is switched on,or there's a short

It's the Battery LED Flashing Red....or the Load? I Only Ask 'cos Manual Don't Mention Flashing Red on Battery LED. If Load, it's a Short or Overvoltage. Nigel's Advice's Sound...I'd Check Fuses in Turn ie. Pull One at a Time Before Putting M'Meter Leads 'Cross the Fuseholder. G/L!

Listen carefully Susan. Forget the van batteries, get the scooter on charge then bring it on the train to Caerphilly so me and Rob can get back from the town. We will look to see if we can find a place to make a bed for you in Asda's trolly rack shed. If you got both lights green in daylight it looks like you have got it sorted. At night only one stays green unless the battery is low. Hope you make it chuck and it seems to be looking like its going to OK. See ya sometime Friday . .... Tom ....

Still got major problems with batteries and panel..!!! The regulator lights keep flashing..even the solar panel light keeps going on and off..the battery light flashes red (fully charged battery) Checked all fuses, taken any un wanted wires off batteries that were defunct in case of a short. Strange thing is when i try to put my multimeter on the battery terminals on the regulator it sparks and sends the lights flashin once again.. So i think something is shorting somewhere or the regulator is goosed..!!! (cheap chinese 10a regulator bought 3 years ago) battery also runs down whilst in this mode..disconnected panel and regulator for the time being. Could damp have go into the panel on the roof? is the regulator goosed? Have i totally lost the plot? (Dont Answer!!)

not sure mate, sounds a bit cheap. i was told a decent one is pretty heavy, which mine is.i have a feeling you get what you pay for with these things.i know the MTTP is supposed to be a lot more efficient, but have heard that some controllers are called that, but are the other ,less efficient type. i'm no expert !
