Lol I can have a go at being a meathead steward Where's your wristband, no litter, no dogs, no alcohol, no glass, no breathing...

Yeah I know, but I happen to really like the same band who headline every year, I see the Shropshire countryside all the while when I'm home, and Cropredy is a sort of annual pilgrimage in this house - used to take the kids every year till I couldn't afford their tickets anymore! (and neither can they). So now I just meet up with old friends there - who likewise leave their grown up kids at home now..

I thought Chris Leslie was the highlight of Fairport. A great talent multi-instrumentalist who drives the band while not getting the limelight. Best parts of Cropredy 2013 for me were Levellers, Peat Bog Faeries and Alice Cooper. Agreed it is very much a family gig as well. Can bring your own seats etc and set up for the day. Though to be fair, you can do similar at Farmer Phil's which is also becoming a long term pilgrimage for many

caz I did Cropredy 2013 and Farmer Phils 2014. Enjoyed both but Farmer Phils is so much better value. I think I paid £150 for Cropredy inc 3 nights camping and 3 day festival. Farmer Phils was half that plus a weeks camping thrown in free. Cropredy bigger name acts but as I am not into MOR music particularly, the kind of bands I like play both. Both do have very relaxed atmosphere. Dogs allowed, bring own booze if you want, and no anal meathead stewards. Scenery and walking around Farmer Phils much better so together with value, Farmer Phil's shades it for me. Lol I can have a go at being a meathead steward Lol, haven't you been there, seen it, done it at farmer Phil's this year? [WVW starts running in a direction away from Penny...]

Ticket purchased and in my grubby mits without booking fees Did you get it by post? Was looking to book before I go away. The booking form online says £75 but presumably if they receive during early bird it's £65.....

The booking form online says £75 but presumably if they receive during early bird it's £65..... I got mine from a ticket tout at Dogfest The tout was a pleasant young lady called Laura Jayne who is involved with the festival, as I don't have a cheque book this was the cheapest option for me and if you apply by post with a cheque before the deadline it is £65 Ps. Ferocious Dog are booked again for next year
