Blimey Christine I bet you don't get one of those because I was with Vern down the local pub when he bought yours on the day you was coming. The best of it was he still got yours £8 cheaper than I paid over the tinternet. .... Tom ....

When is the Something Else festival Chris? I know it's not the same as last year? Is it on the festival calendar?

I'd only have saved £5 buying in advance with postal application. Buy tickets at an outlet (local pub) for £75, and no transaction fee. Well not if you don't count all the booze consumed during the transaction LOL

Ah was such a sunny day and a mile walk each way. It was uphill all the way back and was a good job we got well watered for the return trip. In fact looking forward to going for your tickets again next year ....

I will be on for Farmer Phils 2015 I think. Great week in 2014!
I thought Ferocious Dog were the best band 2014 - Blockheads tight musically but felt like a cover band without Dury. Can't beat FD for crowd atmosphere.

Will be doing a craft stall so will be up at the top but any offers to set up the tarp of a thousand crisp packets or to run the stall for an hour so I can have a break would be much appreciated. I may even have a proper stall tent by then so can lend the tarp if anyone wants it, after all it did survive a hurricane ;-)
If any crafty peeps would like to sell some of their crafty stuff on my stall, let me know.

I'm happy to run the stall for a while or watch over stuff or help you set up when needed. I'll finish off the other dream catchers to give you some more stock (Don't want any profit share - I enjoyed making them!)

The more the merrier! I can't miss Ferocious Dog, but they're only usually on late I'll probably stick roughly to opening times which avoid the main and popular acts, after all no one would be buying at those times. I'm looking at running some crafty workshops for kids so would be looking for cover for the stall during the workshops (perhaps one each afternoon and one each early evening) - it seems that catering for kids is a big thing at festivals, especially if it means they are out of their parents hair for an hour or 2. The wood stool making stall was hugely popular, with little overheads, and at £15 for an hour, it is a nice little earner. I'd be looking at maybe T shirt painting or tie dyeing or making a bracelet or felting etc. No definite plans as yet but open to suggestions...

I'm sure Auntie Carol and I could manage that between us I'm not very good at haggling though, I'd need strict instructions!

I am overrun with them at home. See if you can make them some handcuffs and then lock them in a bouncy castle with no air in it. There mums wont mind they will be spaced out somewhere with the Blockheads. .... Tom ....

Everything for sale will be priced and will need to be recorded when sold, but just a photo of the item with price label will do, so no haggling required. Farmer Phil doesn't charge a flat fee for a stall but charges for a percentage of sales which is much fairer if you don't sell much.
Tom, the workshops will mean that there are hopefully less kids running around as they'll be busy with me. You can help by having the dogs during the workshops, I'm sure Diesel will enjoy resuming his bromance with yours (I've forgot his name) and Rigg will be content to wander down the pub with you.

Shame this one always clashes with Cropredy. caz I did Cropredy 2013 and Farmer Phils 2014. Enjoyed both but Farmer Phils is so much better value. I think I paid £150 for Cropredy inc 3 nights camping and 3 day festival. Farmer Phils was half that plus a weeks camping thrown in free. Cropredy bigger name acts but as I am not into MOR music particularly, the kind of bands I like play both. Both do have very relaxed atmosphere. Dogs allowed, bring own booze if you want, and no anal meathead stewards. Scenery and walking around Farmer Phils much better so together with value, Farmer Phil's shades it for me.
