Thickly spread the buttered bread with well ripe avocado.
Boil eggs until just hard and then slice, while still warm, onto the avocado.
Then a thin spread of mayonnaise and lightly season with S&P before slapping on the other slice of buttered bread.

You can't beat a good old cheese and onion sandwich - made with extra mature or vintage cheddar , but not that tasteless mild stuff

cucumber with some salt and pepper maybe.
fish fingers not sure can be full of nasty additives - maybe fresh fish lightly grilled and then in a sandwich?

I flew a bit to Turkey and back this year via Germany. It was economy class but they always seem to manage to serve something. Even on the hours flight between Istanbul and Ankara they wheeled out a drink and a snack.
