Hi Everyone,i'm a Welshman living in Bulgaria and loving it,been here 6 years now,i also have a Talbot Autoquest 400gt ,6 berth, which i use as much as possible (when not renovating my houses)
I have (at my door) the use of the Greek shores,Bulgarian Black sea and the Turkish Marmaris, well a hours drive or 3 for Greece/Turkey.I spend alot of time near Kavala, great for 'wildcamping' ,but i have found Bulgaria and Turkey to be great for 'wilding' also,so many places to just stop and stay, for as long as you wish.
At the moment i am renovating my second house here, and turning it into a campsite, hour inland from the sea,in beautiful countryside, but with my village, where horse/donket carts trundle past (as well as new 4x4's) where there are protected bird species flying overhead,a trout river at the bottom of the garden (acre) and a slow quiet lifestyle.
If you haven't discovered this part of the World as yet,its time you did, joined EU in 2007,on the doorstep of Istanbul and the Greek shores, unbelievable nature abounds, fantastic places to see and cheap !Many ancient sites to visit,if your into history etc,8000 years or more to discover, the Thracian kindom, then Roman and later the Ottomon rule, safe and welcoming, only let down being 1800 miles/3000 kms from UK,a bus or train straight from London for under £100 or a cheap flight to one of the 4 airports here,or trundle along in your vehicle, via the 3 different routes to get here, taking in the fantastic countries on the way, return via a different route.
looking forward to the site and any questions i can help you with,if you need any info.
