There's a few new people today so just a quick guide on forum navigation here.
There's a bar of links at the top and bottom of every page
* Forum Home Top(LinkStation) * Recent Posts Here * Recent Threads Here * Forum Home Bottom(Shoutbox) *
Those links will get you the most recent posts and threads very fast. Also you can flick up between the bottom and the top of the home page very fast without scrolling by the top and bottom links.
At the bottom is a "shoutbox" which is like a never ending comments and banter chat thread.
There are lots of other ways to get around of course, but using the bar
* Forum Home Top(LinkStation) * Recent Posts Here * Recent Threads Here * Forum Home Bottom(Shoutbox) *
will help you initially. Similar links as well as profile and messages links are at the very top too.
Private messages, avatars, signatures and all the other features are all free and available to everyone. Members who contribute will be given 250 free posts which will give you access to hidden forums for Wild Camping Locations (maps) (WCLs), Woodland purchase, and VIP lounge.

I use the 'Participated' button quite a lot. It flags it as New if a thread you have been involved in is updated and you can click on it for a quick link.

Good tip - though I don't think I've ever tried that one myself!

I always go straight to the Recent Threads link - then you can see any new threads and which ones have been updated since you last looked
