So what do you do to your van for winter ? Do you drain it down ? Put an oil filled rad in it ? Or just leave it and hope for the best ?

We only use the van at weekends ,but I don't drain down.If its going to be frosty then I put a small oil fired rad in.My fresh water tank is in board and the waste tank is emptied after every trip.Thats under the van.

Same as me as sleep in it pretty much 365 ! Never empty the water and only shut waste if on a carpark otherwise is open all year round ! What a bad boy ! I leave a small oil filled rad on low when it left at mothers just to keep it aired and damp free . I do not think the fridge has been switched off for a whole year now and most of my clothes stay in there too .

not too much. it is not insulated so more of a day van but we sometimes use in winter. just drain the tanks and have a small fan heater on a timer just to keep the frost off it on the worse days

I know it's over the top but I have a small oil filled radiator with thermostat set on low in the van and the water drained out, this keeps it aired and ready for use.I also open the cupboards to circulate the air in them. Luckily it's between our and next doors house so it's protected from the worst weather.
