From the description it doesn't sound like they've had it long. Looks nice though and am sure it will be great but ask lots of questions before you hand over your dosh.....Ask to see the MOT failure notice or advisory list and past MOT certificates? When was the last oil change? Last timing (cam) belt change if at all. Plugs, points ingnition coil etc....all need regular maintainance on an old petrol engine.

Hey, looking good Anne Jammy so-and-so! First job: CHECK UNDERNEATH !!! It's the same as ours. I love the internal layout on these vans, really hard to beat imho. Check out what might be causing the exhaust to blow too.

Thanks for all the comments, I just hope it is OK...and that I can tell if its not! Can/t quite believe I did that..hardly read it properly. Yes Mark they haven't had it long and think they are a garage - so may not even know the history ... think I will be really lucky if it is OK... Oh gawd!! But will hope for the best.. and can always re-sell it. it did go cheap for those vans they are pretty popular

I thought u were going to Cheese fest actually and was disappointed when you weren't We could all stay at Radwell Sat night if you wanted. Providing they have space - I can check. It is literally 3 mins drive from where the van is. It's where we had the Halloween meet last year. Only £5 a night with water and toilets. Could be an impromptu meet up. You wont need much bedding in this weather. Pillow and sheet maybe. Anything else you want you can borrow off me, like coffee milk wine etc And there is 24h Tesco extra superstore in Baldock (3 miles)

If not there are places to wildcamp nearby like Weston Woods. Edit (If you want I can poke around underneath the van and see if I can find any holes before you stump up the cash)

I checked it out and they have spaces at Radwell.
There's a Rally in the Orchard, but they have space in the fields. If anyone else wants to come, give me a shout!
If you are coming, bring some stale bread for the ducks!

How far is it for me, Vernon? It takes me 3 hours to Manchester, and 180 miles. I'm guessing around the same from Bradford. edit: www.citiesdistance.com/baldock/bradford.htmlIt's about 165 miles - slightly more direct than Manchester as it happens, pretty much straight down the A1.
