Vernon Carol Mark Ann and Mia It was really good to catch up with you at The Kyle of Tongue. Enjoyed your company and thanks for the coffee. I spent a night at Durness after leaving you then headed down to Glen Coe for a night. Wild camped near Crianlarich and Loch Lomond and I have spent the last few days on the Mull of Kintrye including a magical day on the island of Gigha. Gave you a wee shout out on this weeks episode of Passing Places Podcast Hope to see you all again in Scotland one day soon. Kevin

Great to meet you at last Kevin! Sorry it was a fleeting visit as we were crossing paths. Would be good to get a couple of nights in wilding to swap stories. We love Scotland - already planning another trip. Maybe up to Inverness, across the West coast to Torridon and Skye, then down the coast Island hopping, maybe Oban, Islay, Jura, Kintyre, Arran and back to Ardrossan. Thanks for the shoutout on www.bonnietours.com/ - we'll check it out.

Sorry for slow responses. can't sneak on at work anymore due to change in proxy setting that deosnt like Proboards, but I can no longer by pass it, grrr! Thanks for liking piccies, great to meet Kevin too, our Scotland trip was fabulous, and new scotland trip plan sounds likea good agenda, all the bits we didn't see so taht would be good. The bits I would go back to would be Gairloch area, and all around Cape Wrath area up to just after Tong - absolutely stunning beaches all along there backed by sand dunes and mostly deserted. But the East Coast between Wick and Inverness also looked really nice, what I could see anyway from bombing past on 500 mile trip home!!But much more dramatic than I expected, probably cos everyone says the West Coast is so much more lovely!

Firefox I hope you are adding sites to the map, from your travels? I'm slacking in that respect! But I'll get going. Shall we all have a joint blitz on the map and aim for 500 sites by the end of August?!

Harumph, I have been adding as I find new ones. It is easy to fall out of the habit, innit?

Very easy! I need someone to give me a good reminder now and then, but after we have 1000 that should give us great coverage on the UK

Polly
You must have brought this wonderful weather with you. Would be good to catch up if you are around mid August onwards? I'm just heading out the door in the next day or two for 4 or 5 weeks in France.
Will keep an eye on the forum as best I can.
Cheers.
Kevin
