I was introduced to this guy by a bunch of skinheads in Streatham, when I was about 17, who'd decided to ''do'' me. they loved the blues. ilearnt a lot about those girls and guys from the twenties and after.a lot of the songs were quite filthy though,so I never listened to them

Just found this again My favourite folk singer, Dick Gaughan, with Emmy Lou Harris, Rufus Wainwright, Kate and Anna McGarrigle, doing a lovely job with that old classic Wild Mountain Time.

Hope this doesn't look like I'm a bit of a big head but I have the honour of having a song written about me by a fan of mine (I was in the entertainment business)last year. This song relates to when I was compere and DJ at the Skegness Rock n roll weekenders for a number of years. My music is the music of the late 1940s to the early sixties. It was recorded in New York. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa9c01pz1JU
