Hello there, I've bought a 1981 Bedford CF350. I'm looking forward to some adventures with my dog if I ever get it through its MOT...
Never lived in a van before. Bit nervous if I'm honest. Can't wait to make new friends along the way, I'm based in Somerset.
Take care y'all x

Cracking van the old Bedford cf is it diesel or petrol, if I remember right most were the opal running gear by that age so an opal diesel lump would have been fitted, stick some photos on to take me back to my Vauxhall Bedford mechanics days, andy

No photos yet, it's still in the garage, they couldn't get the emissions down and have sent the carb away. Very frustrating! Itching to get packed in to it and away.

Get the delco points distributor fitted with electronic ignition as the tolerances were poor when new and they would often misfire when coming off the factory line, the carb can do with a 48 hr soak in meths this softens up all the plastics that are in petrol nowadays and will help with better running, andy
