My wife and i have have bought a Mercedes Benz 1994 Motorhome conversion from a 310D van. Over 40mph there are vibrations, I had the propshaft balanced and new parts where needed on it, refitted at a cost of over £400 and the vibrations are still there.
Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance

Hi mohopejosh If you can drive throu the vibration ie vibration goes over a certain speed probably wheels need balancing . Check wheel bearings and wheel nuts

We had this problem with our Ford Transit last year - turned into a saga. Twice our garage worked on balancing the propshaft, but no joy. It turned out to be where the shaft fitted into the back axle - had to get the shaft fitting reconditioned before all was sorted. Hope this helps. Our garage did this final repair free of charge, after we had paid as much as you already have, because they acknowledged they had initially diagnosed incorrectly.
