Am sure it was free entry last year, just the charge for camping. I think it was the first one last year so maybe it was free entry to assess interest.

It most definitely was not free last year because I paid full price and was told by Mary when I got there that I was eligible for a concession price, didn't make the same mistake this year.

I might have a wander down from Corbridge town sometime on Saturday after I've finished with the plant fair. (If I feel like staying over I can always go back into Corbridge to sleep at my sister's - not the best option as she's usually in 'control-freak-fuss-pot-don't-stay-out-late-how-far-is-your-fart?' mode, but it's just about do-able). I've already suggested to Neil to park the camper outside said sister's and we can both sleepover there, thus avoiding the need to disturb her highness-ladyship-she-who-must-be-obeyed late at night. Be nice to see everyone, feels like eternity since I last saw your pretty faces!

we don't want any bright breezy visitors disturbing us as after dancing the night away to a punk covers band we are all exhausted

It's a shame you didn't make it Marie, we had a great weekend and the weather was good too. It would have been nice to see you. Will you manage to get to Kirby Stephen the first weekend in September?

And there won't be any because we were all very well behaved Are you trying to tell me something Chris? It's because we were missing you we just couldn't enjoy ourselves, Mary even put her hand in the ice bucket so as I could have a cold hand to warm up but it just wasn't the same as warming up your delicate digits
