www.nomadmicrohomes.com/Quite interesting design. I like the stairs/kitchen shelves. They are modular so you can put more than one together to form a bigger space. One unit is $30,000 Canadian (About £15,000 + Taxes and shipping from Canada)

I would go for a log cabin personally. They are comparable in price.
Nice though.

The big claim to fame on this is that it is a metal panel construction complete with insulation. So they say it can be exported to places where insect or termite attack is a problem. However metal panels will rust eventually so it will have a limited lifespan either way.

I still prefer the old container idea. These can be clad, if required.
Some places where termites attack are very hot and dry. Maybe we'd just frazzle up instead of getting rust in the abode?
I remember at the mine in Australia, the pick-handles ( made of hickory) were kept padlocked in a concrete bunker thing. When the supervisor opened up to take out a new one, all he could see was a wee bit of dust. Termites had been at work.

Container would be cheaper. Clad with timber and line with 100mm kingspan. Needs windows too, but with two smallish ones stacked, you could do something like the above design with a mezzanine bedroom and maybe cut away some floor to give you a double height space in the living area.
