One common trick they seem to get away with is calling something by its very minor ingredients eg Inoccent's "Kiwi, Lime, and Wheatgrass smoothie with flax seeds." Upon inspection of the ingredients, there is 12% Kiwi, 0.6% Flax seeds, 0.2% Lime and 0.02% wheat grass (yes 1/50 of 1% or 1 part in 5000! is wheat grass) Over 87% is made up of cheaper ingredients like apple juice and grape juice not even mentioned on the label. Rant over!

Yeah that's misleading, they should have to write the ingredients in a font size in proportion to theamount of ingerdient in there - don't think you would see wheat grass!!

I like the idea of font size, hahaha, wheat grass would be a speck!
It's not as though it is one of those ingredients you can only use in small quants either, one can have whole juices made from 100% wheat grass.

Yeah but it is disgusting though on its own and much better if mixed with apple and carrot juice, still can't disguise it completely! - and always made me feel sick, which kind of makes you worry about how good for you it might be! But yes point taken, probably not much point in having such a tiny amount.

I don't mind it on its own. I think they could have put 10% in the smoothie mix
