I've just bought myself a boat. Nothing flash, just a little river cruiser, 2 berth 20 feet long.
I've got it moored at St Ives marina in Cambs, which gives me somewhere to take Julie and the grandkids in the MH and the berth includes EHU. It will be a great place to get young Harry into fishing.
Wildcamping is a lot easier on the river, I like to either stop at pubs, or just get out in the middle of nowhere and moor up in a farmers field, or if the banks are overgrown, just drop the anchor. I also have a lot of friends on the river due to owning previous boats, so I can usually meet up with someone for a beer or BBQ.
I'll post some pics when I get round to it (and when forum space allows).

Sounds great! See you at a pub on the river, as I don't have a boat I am using postimage ( postimage.org/ ) for hosting my pics now. (It is really easy to use, you don't need an account even, though I have a free account - and it doesn't use the forum allocation which is quite limited )

I've just created an account and created a test image, but how do I link to it from the forum, if I use 'Add Attachment' it links to my Desktop Pictures file.

Go to your image on postimage, click link beneath which says "show codes" Opposite the one which says "direct link" click the right hand button which says copy to clip board. It will say Copied! Come here to your post (preferably in another tab) and paste the URL between the [ img] and [ /img] tags (don't have space after the ['s - I just did that to show the idea) eg Direct link >> s25.postimg.org/lhaat2kn3/lake2.jpgPosted between tags >>

No it came from a local chap Glenn. It's a nice little boat, but probably won't go up hills very well!
