LOL MUDFEST PART TWO !!
I am not entirely sure if we can park on the car park as they have some special event going on...(filming)one of the locals I think she said and they are expecting a busy weekend ...but don't quote me on that.
Landlady did say that the field would most likely be boggy and we have had some heavy down pours in the South. She also said it WONT be a problem getting anyone off the field. So I am not going to worry about it. Wellies... check lots of towels for a very wet and muddy dog ...check and more importantly 'I wont care' alcoholic drink ....check;)

Didn't want to be a party pooper, Jac, just wanted to warn you! Really wish I was joining you....have a fab weekend. My trademark is becoming, "might make it......" So who knows! Read a really funny review of the pub on another site! Happy Birthday. Is it a big one? I'll rephrase that as you're too young to have a big one.......is it a milestone one?

I have been known to spend birthday money on Christmas presents LOL so its nice that we can do something special with our camping friends. Wished you could make it ..but I know its so far

I am afraid I just arrived home to a houseful of paramedics and Julie once again hooked up to drips. (They have left now).
She was doing so well after last week, but it all went again overnight and this morning. They have let her stay at home now she is re-hydrated and she looks much better, but any more and she is to go straight to hospital by ambulance.
She has insisted that I attend this meet, she says that she feels really bad about me keep missing meets due to her condition. But she will be really upset if I don't go! I suppose I will have to see how she goes overnight. Then I will feel really bad if she gets taken into hospital again!!
Life really can be a shit sometimes! Hopefully see you all tomorrow.

Oh Rob, so sorry. It's so stressful for you and horrendous for Julie. You know her well enough by now....she's probably dying to get rid of you for a few days so do her a favour and go! Unfortunately I won't be there but have a good time and stick to lemonade....pigs and flying suddenly comes to mind!

Hell Rob what a bummer. Poor girl its never ending, but shes a great buddy making sure you don't miss out again. Just go enjoy yourself as she asks. That will help her to get better more than you getting in the way round the house. She got loads of family round her and not forgetting Ruby. Give her big hugs off Jose and me. .... Tom ....

Afraid I won't be there. She insisted that I should go, but I would have felt really guilty, and the kids wouldn't have thought much of me if I had.
Have a good one everybody.

Hi Jac,
She's a little better, but pretty fed up, she has been in bed for almost 2 weeks now. She says she wants to get up tomorrow and go out for breakfast somewhere, but I don't see her walking as far as the car even!
Glad you all had a great time, hopefully we will get out soon!

Just got back from a fantastic birthday weekend - thank you so much to everyone for making it so special. I feel very humbled that you all travelled so far to help me, Herbenny and Gina celebrate. It was lovely meeting some new friends and putting faces to names, also catching up with everyone. You and Julie were really missed Rob but I hope she is feeling a little better - please give her our love.

Those who didn't stay Sunday missed a real treat. We had a music session in the pub using all the instruments in the window. Three girls who were excellent musicians joined Mark, Glenn and I to make lots of noise. One of the girls even managed to get tunes out the plastic trombone and the landlady played Stranger on the Shore on the clarinet. The landlord also plays the guitar so we all had a go at various party pieces and then a random sing song afterwards.
The Barge looks to be a great new venue!
