"I have to laugh at people being in awe of so called celebrities ... today I met a woman who I am in awe of, and deserving of awe and admiration, she's about 80 years old and has walked from the South of England to the North of Scotland with her Half linger horse and 2 little terriers in the saddle bags .. she camps out every night and is on her way home again.. I expect it will be Christmas before she gets there .. and the purpose of this journey .. to visit friends of hers in the North of Scotland .. Imagine sleeping outdoors in this weather and all alone .. A brave soul made of real stuff!" (Jackie Quinn)

There's no room for her on the horse, the dogs get the prime spot. By the way Is it spring yet, dormouse? do you mean haflinger horse? I don't think I've heard of a half linger before, though it may apply to some lazy ones
