there was a lambretta scooter rally in davos Switzerland, the weekend of 27th to 29th june, so six of us thought lets pop over and have a look, anyway 8 days,1774 miles, 8 countries, and gallons of beer, 5 scooters returned to the uk, 1 still in Germany waiting to be crated and returned. meeting up at macs in burton
waiting for the ferry at hull 1st stop for beer in Luxembourg pause at a copshop, cos nick lost most of his luggage on the road, quite spectacular riding through euros, pants, socks etc, he then got arrested trying to recover it from a very busy road. looking for digs in france one of many lambretta tweaking sessions, this one swiss border lake in zurich digs in davos a few piccies of davos and scooters lambretta tinkering in Austria, stator had died, good job spares are carried digs in lietkirch, Germany this place was full of random statues digs in cologne, after a marathon 415 miles ridden, catching up on lost time due to stator breakdown, we lost rog on an autobahn, his exhaust manifold split, so recovery job for him. bit more lanbretta tinkering, deanos scoot was eating spark plugs, he brought 7 with him and bought 2 more in Switzerland exchanging surplus euros for beer on ferry back back in the uk last bit of lambretta tinkering

We look a rough bunch, but certainly know how to party. Myself and this bunch have also been for a tootle round Holland twice, and Turin. Started planning for Brittany next year.
