I was in Uni then. I remember 99 Red Balloons, Cry, Purple Rain, Blondie, Madonna, Mike Oldfield, Dire Straits, Genesis, Sky, ZZ top, and Thriller in no particular order.
My mum used to call it all "pop music" and she reckoned it was all "rubbish" and "loud stereo" which did her ears in.

Break dancing was all the craze when i was in secondary school.Who can forget the classic movies that came out as a result Breakdance the movie and of course Breakdance 2 Electric Boogaloo Turbo and Ozone where cool and not a lot of people know that Jean Claude Van Dam had his first cameo appearance in Breakdance the movie
