Morning all.
Tis like a pint of Guinness in Taunton – cool and dark.
Anyone hiding in the shadows, it’s very quiet here. I’ve had a quick sweep up while I’ve been waiting, fag ends everywhere, I wish Rob would throw them out the window.
Herby - you don't want to be losing weight with the cold weather coming - better to leave it till spring. It's never been a problem for me as I'm built like a racing snake.
Baby sitting at our daughters today, so her wifi is going to take a hammering.

Morning Chris. Dark and not so cool here. Funny old weather. We've been dead lucky - the longer it stays mild and snowless, the shorter the time 'til spring and longer days! I'm built like a racing snake too. One that's just eaten a hippo Life: unfinished threads in a never-ending tapestry

Morning Marie,
We've just arrived at our daughter's and it's surprising how fast t'internet is at this time of morning, before the wee ones get on their eggbox and faceache.
Weston's whiskered wonder doesn't seem to appear so early these days - do you reckon he's got company in his sleeping bag?

Nigel you know what a sure cure for a hangover is ?? its a natural remedy .....half a glass of milk, splash of vinegar, mix with a raw egg, put a small clove of garlic in season with salt and pepper ..if its too sour then put a dollop of jam but listen very carefully (it has to be Tesco's finest or it doesn't work) in for sweetness wisk up and put a sprinkle of cayenne and chilli pepper for a bit of a kick and bobs your uncle !!!

I can imagine Brownie looking better with a hoover bag over his head. (no offence).
Just got back from my unit where I've had a couple of days with Splitty, starting work on his transit conversion. Jim (Helmit) came yesterday as well, but Phil (ChrisandPhil) let us down, he was supposed to arrive this morning, but inconsiderately fell down the stairs and broke his leg, pfffffffft, that's what I call a lame excuse! (hope you're back on your feet before TOO long Phil).
Progress has been a bit slow, but the engine is running sweet, and a new floor is in as well as a side window. We were hit by a few problems, but Dave remained unphased and we continue on the learning curve.

Sounds like a mini solo stealth van, Rob Just what I could do with for a quick escape when Neil's driving me nuts! You guys are so clever, it makes me really envious! Mornin’
Fag ends yesterday, goose droppings this morning!!
Slept in a proper bed, in a house, last night; prefer the van or the boat, but spose I’ll have to get used to it when I get old, though I am retired you know!
Marie - pinched some of your cartoons for my web site, muchos grassy arse. (You should have called the thread "Barrie's page" knowing his love of Xmas.)
