Plan is to get all round the UK next year, ideally I want to downsize the house as well, but Julie is gonna take some convincing on that one! Sounds like a busman's holiday; can't be many places you haven't visited! As a compromise, could you not just rent out the west wing? What and share with the hoi polloi? The very idea!

Morning. The downstairs toilet is not going well...... The plumber was going to feed the waste from macerated into surface water drain which himself wouldn't do. worked around that now but involved a lot more work.
He says he is semi retired but recently had more work than ever....

Morning all! This is a first for me posting so early. Woke up after an un ner ing dream and couldn't get back to sleep so have made a cuppa and here I am. Sad thing is I'd normally be reading not messing about on my iPad. Worse than a teenager!

It's blowy this morning. Just seen a lesser spotted flock of plastic bags blowing down the street.

Oo, I is well grumpy! (more than usual... ) Neil is using my iMac for work stuff as his is completely knackered and he's still making his mind up about what to get as a replacement. I'm back on my old Tosh laptop and hating it Got to say, the screens on macs are brilliant by comparison. Life: unfinished threads in a never-ending tapestry

Good Afternoon I find all modern computers are pretty good. I am easy to please! Have tried pads and macs of friends and quite impressed, though less than impressed how they talk to PC's - memory card/file compatibility etc. I'd probably get an Apple product to try out more, but too though!

I found piles of them nesting near the self checkout at Tesco the other day - I could always rustle a few up for Mongoose should the Welsh operation become viable.

just saw a flock of plastic bags as well ! they're early this year, damn this global warming Now that most of them are bio-degradable, they’ve realised that sunlight will destroy them, so they migrate oop norf to extend their lives. Of course a lot of them are druggies, but this is usually down to the fact that their mothers were carriers.

We went to Bangor earlier this year and was charged for carrier bags - so now I try in the van and carry some - but I have several large bags filled with carrier bags when I get too many I give them to the charity shops and I use them in my pedal bin - cheaper than buying bags.

Having a bit of a pamper this morning curtesy of my son and his girlfriend (their Christmas treat)so just debating whether to make the effort to walk to town, as I started back at my slimming class this week and I have put on half stone since doing my new job ...what a chunky ass I is... aaaarggghhhhh... I haven't eaten chocolate in 72 hours and the headaches and shakes are just starting to subside LOL. Anyway have a great day all ....

Anyway, how's the van coming on, have you finished all the cold weather mods yet? yep got the curtain sorted for the front got my internal screens and lowered it by a foot or so over the lounge so just t got to set it up with sofas either side and tie back for the front curtains going to put in spare duvet so that will go underneathme on top of memory foam and if it get cold then can just flick it over the top of me and failing that put out a sos for some to squeeze into sleeping bag to keep me warm lol and to rub my back

Not an early riser me - normally about noon just in time to do Ron's lunch but got up early to watch my programme - thats dedication to duty. Nice and sunny here with blue skies but its cold. Off now to my craft room for peace and quiet and my daily fix - it is better than chocolate (never thought I'd say that)
