This looks good. The problem I can see is bandwidth and cost of air time.
People use satellites all the time for GPS and sat nav but the data is small. Just receiving a signal and establishing a position. Or you can get satellite television from a broadcast. But with satellite internet, you are demanding and receiving large amounts of individual data.
There are systems available but it's about £200 a month for a data connection when I last looked. It may have come down since then. If a lot of people want to use it, I think we will need some more satellites!

Check out Alden systems. I had a TV and internet dish and the only reason it didn't work for me was the dish had to be stowed in winds higher than 15 mph, so was useless for internet that I needed for hours per day to work. If you use one regularly it works out about a £1 a day I think if you pay annually.

I also had an Alden and agree, totally useless for a mobile installation. In fact it's sat in a friends garage for about 3 years gathering dust.
