Advice please.
Just got this from Natural England;
"Thank you for your Touring Caravan Exemption Certificates and Camping Exemption Certificates application form submitted on behalf of Free Motorhoming UK which we received on 11th June. We have started to process your application but note that your organisation’s Code of Conduct Paragraph 16 does not comply with the required spacing units. The 6 metre requirement is compulsory therefore, we cannot accept your Code of Conduct as it currently stands because it states “Where possible at least 6 metres should be required between units in all circumstances”. It is the words “Where possible” that are the issue. Can you please amend this sentence accordingly and re-submit the Code of Conduct to me. You can either send it to my address (details in my signature) or e-mail it to me. It is Natural England’s policy to only allow new clubs to have a Paragraph 6 Exemption certificate. After 6-12 months if you wish to apply again for a Paragraph 4 I would be grateful if you could let me have the contact details for 2 sites that you have used so we can obtain the necessary references from them. If everything meets our requirements we would then issue a Paragraph 4 Exemption. Regarding your Paragraph 5 application, again we do not issue these to newly established clubs. We only issue these to well established clubs who have a formal application process, field officers etc to carry out the necessary checks of sites that they wish to give the Paragraph 5 certificate to. Again we would expect you to be running and holding rallies for 12-18 months before an application could be considered. Thank you. OK, have amended the paragraph 16 of constitution to remove the words "where possible." as requested.
Now we just proceed as before, but go for paragraph 6 only to start with. We only intended paragraph 6 originally in any case, until advised by Roger to get the other two as well. It seems we shall have to wait for those and proceed on them as and when.

I rang Claire at Natural England today to see how this was progressing. She said I must have ESP as she was just putting our certificate into an envelope for postage as the 'phone rang! She said there had been some delay as she was waiting for references, but she said that the references we had were excellent and NE could not ask for more! Certificate should arrive at my house on Monday.
